A Day in the Life – Costa Rica
For the uninitiated, Costa Rica can mean many things: Ecotourism, happy people, sunny beaches, great Scuba Diving, Wildlife viewing, adventure-seeking, and the ever-present "Pura Vida". We created the "A Day in the Life - Costa Rica" video to show you our little slice of Costa Rica through the eyes of people who live here and have done what you have only dreamed of doing until now.
Everything you see in the video was filmed in Costa Rica and all the comments made by are from people that live, work and play in Costa Rica. Sure, we include dramatic footage and powerful music but the reality is as true as the message put forth.
Enjoy!
Most of the footage was shot within 10 minutes of our Tres Amigos Realty office here in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The wildlife scenes were shot all within a 50-mile radius of our office. All the people that appear on the video live in the local communities around Playas del Coco. It might be hard to believe but there are no actors and everything that people said was spontaneous and their own words.
We put a lot of effort into the production because we felt it was important to give a 5-minute view of the sights, sounds and real-life opinions and experiences of the local ex-pat community. We shot hours of video interviews and there were certainly some folks that looked better than others on camera but there were almost no negative comments, and if there were the negative comments could be for the most part explained by cultural differences or misunderstandings of how the local Costa Rican's (Ticos) prefer to handle things.
They say Costa Rica is the happiest place on earth. This video proves that if you come here from another country to live the happiness rubs off.
